General Aviation Director
The Lee County Port Authority’s General Aviation Director oversees Page Field Airport, the Port Authority’s aviation services business operation, and the Aviation Center. Specific responsibilities include planning, directing and coordinating the airport’s operation and development, overseeing and directing the annual budget, communicating regularly with airport tenants and ensuring that the airport complies with federal, state and local policies, procedures and regulations. This highly responsible position represents the Port Authority, Page Field and the interest of general aviation through participation in statewide and national professional organizations, committees, business meetings and conferences to further the airport’s role in the aviation community.
Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from a four year college or university with studies in Aviation Management or related field desirable; seven or more years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. FAA pilot certification desirable. Valid Florida Class B CDL driver’s license with “X” endorsement is required. Salary $80,892 - $111,432.

- Apply in Person: Southwest Florida International Airport, Human Resources. Enter the terminal on the 2nd level. Follow the signs for concourse C (located past the ticket counters) through either the East or West Atrium (doors 2 and 5). Directly across from the entrance to Concourse C between the PGA Tour Shop and Quiznos Subs - is an alcove with two elevators. Take either elevator to level 3. The receptionist will direct you to the Human Resources department.
